The president of Prelude Pictures, the production company releasing the film 'The Perfect Game', is being sued by his soon-to-be ex-wife.
Daniel de Liege's wife of two years, Kara, is suing the West Palm-based Prelude as well as other companies that put out the film, as part of her divorce. She wants half her husband’s profits on the film.
The film is based on a true story about a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico who become the first non-U.S. team to win the Little League World Series. Shooting has already been completed in Valencia, CA and Mexico.
The film stars Cheech Marin, Clifton Collins Jr. and Louis Gossett Jr.
Release date is August 15th.
