The HighRoad Entertainment production company which is run by David Salzberg and Christian Tureaud has acquired rights to The Perfect Game.
The film is based on a true story about a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico who become the first non-U.S. team to win the Little League World Series. Shooting has already been completed in Valencia, CA and Mexico.
The film stars Cheech Marin, Clifton Collins Jr. and Louis Gossett Jr.
Release date is August 15th.
