New Jersey Coffee Shop Rebrands Itself After 'Cheech' Lawsuit

Cheech's Own, owned by Bridgewater native Steven Chiocchi, is rebranding itself to Lucid after actor Richard "Cheech" Marin filed a lawsuit.

Back in September 2019, Cheech sued this New Jersey coffee shop over it's name.  Keep in mind that Cheech had only recently applied for a trademark. They settled in March of this year.

Cheech is a widely used nickname for Chicharonne. Cheech loves to sue people. Soon he'll sue anyone that names their chihuahua Cheech.

Grand Opening is this Friday.

Tommy Chong Ripped By Fans Over $5,000 Limited Edition Bong

Tommy Chong is back in the glassware business, but people are not happy.  He has the nerve to charge 5 grand for the bong.

One fan said "Bro I thought it was gonna be like 500 not no fkn 5000 like geez dude u got ur money already,"

According to The Blast, 5% is going to charity.  In another words, Tommy and the artist pocket $4,750.
