Hosted by Billy Crystal and narrated by Amy Sedaris, "Make 'Em Laugh: The Funny Business of America" is a documentary series chronicling more than a century of the funniest moments in American entertainment. Video: Band Angus Khan Performs Rock Fight

Angus Khan is a local supergroup of sorts from Los Angeles featuring members of The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, ADZ and B Movie Rats, all of whom were signed, toured the world and won local awards, etc. They're a punk-glam-metal-biker rock band ala AC/DC meets Motorhead and are all HUGE Cheech and Chong fans. They got asked to be on an upcoming compilation album that features local L.A. underground bands covering legendary LA underground bands from the ‘60s – 80s. They chose Cheech and Chong’s “Rock Fight” and just started working it out live.

The Weinstein Company Partnering With Cheech Marin And Tommy Chong On A New Concert Movie

As Tommy Chong mentioned when the tour began, The Weinstein Company will be releasing a DVD of the Cheech & Chong tour. It was originally stated that their Dallas, TX shows were going to be filmed for this project, but it will actually be filmed at their November 28th show at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, CA.

NEW YORK, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Weinstein Company (TWC) have partnered with Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, and their managers Ben Feigin and Josh Klein to produce a concert movie to memorialize the comic duo's reunion and first tour together in 25 years. The announcement was made today by Barry Gordon, executive vice president of home entertainment at TWC.

As part of the arrangement, TWC has worldwide theatrical, home video, digital and television rights. The feature-length program, which will portray a live concert experience of the "Cheech & Chong: Light Up America" tour, is expected to make a major TV premiere, followed by the DVD release. TWC International will handle foreign sales beginning at AFM this week.

"The Cheech and Chong Concert Movie" will be an historic, must-experience event for the many fans that grew up listening to their recordings and watching their movies," said Barry Gordon, EVP of Home Entertainment at TWC. "For the millions of new fans who have discovered Cheech and Chong over the years as cultural icons, this will be the first time many of them will be able to enjoy the artistry and one-of-kind magic that is Cheech and Chong live on stage. This is the comedy event of the decade."
"It's great to get a chance to cap a long career with a show of where we are now," said Marin.

Chong stated, "I really like Harvey because he picked up my dinner tab."

Start of production and official release dates are to be announced.

Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong's phenomenal success began on the stand-up comedy circuit and led to eight hit films and nine comedy albums, which garnered multiple Grammy nominations. The "Cheech & Chong: Light Up America" reunion tour officially kicked off on September 26, 2008 and has been selling out across the country. Many of the dates have needed to add multiple shows each night to meet demand. The tour will continue through 2009, and will bring the duo overseas to multiple continents.

Gordon and Eileen Rodriguez, director of acquisitions, negotiated on behalf of TWC. Ben Feigin of Anonymous Content, Josh Klein of The Group Management, Stan Coleman and Matthew Sugarman from the firm of Weissmann, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman, Grodin & Evall, and Josh Hiller negotiated on behalf of Marin and Chong. Feigin and Klein will executive produce the movie.

Review: Cheech & Chong Tour in Niagara Falls

John W checked out the Cheech & Chong: Light Up America tour a few days ago at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls.

He was kind enough to send us his review.

I just saw the boys at the Fallsview Casino on Nov 6. I got to wear my sweet new Cheech and Chong t-shirt thanks to cheechandchongfans.com. As this was my second time seeing them on the reunion tour (the 1'st being Toronto Sept 6), I pretty much knew what to expect and Cheech and Chong didn't disappoint us.

Shelby Chong opened the show. Her routine hasn't changed much since the start of the tour, but she was still damn funny and got things started nicely with her sex, drugs and Cheech and Chong jokes.

Cheech wanders across the stage looking good and a little more trimmer then the last show I saw and we're off into Up In Smoke. The Led Zeppelin joint, now updated with some ky jelly is a CLASSIC!! From there we're off into Mexican in Space, Let's Make A Dope Deal, Bob and Margaret, Blind Melon, Red and Earache My eye with Alice Bowie, Ralph and Herbie, Old Man In The Park and the great sing-along of Born In East LA with a little Beaners mixed in and the finale of the Up In Smoke theme song.

Tommy Chong is a great stand-up comic and cuts a mean blues riff too!! He's changed up his routines that he does in between the skits and they are as funny as hell.

The chemistry between Cheech and Chong is as strong as ever. They look like their having a lot of fun on stage.

I've gotta say though, the venue and the audience were pretty lame. The audience looked to be split into the die hard fans and the gambling fans!! A casino is not a great place for this show as Tommy even mentioned they were not allowed to sell any merchandise and no drinks allowed...wtf?? Not a whiff of sweet bud in the air!!, thank god we got good and buzzed before the show.

Overall it was great to see the comedy legends once again.
