Hollywood Actor and Comedian Cheech Marin Hosts Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation’s “Runway of Strength Gala” at an Anaheim Hills Lost World Private Estate
Fashion Show, special cocktails and an exquisite dinner will be enjoyed by Celebrities, NFL Stars, Musicians, and VIP’s at this exclusive fundraiser
Anaheim, CA – The Orange County Family Justice Center (OCFJC) Foundation, a non-profit organization, is honored to announce iconic Actor and Comedian Cheech Marin, known for The Lion King (1994), Nash Bridges (1996) and Cars (2006) will emcee the inaugural “Runway of Strength Gala” on May 30, 2015. Long-time OCFJC supporters Patrick and Jolynn Mahoney will open their exquisite home in Anaheim Hills Lost World Estate for this VIP event.
Strutting down the “Runway of Strength” showcasing the beautiful designs of Betinnis Fashions will be models who are made up of survivors of family violence, celebrities, and dignitaries. Over 300 attendees are expected to attend this spectacular evening that will include cocktails and appetizers. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a dinner designed by Debbie Juliani from Aramark Sports & Entertainment and be treated to a tour of the Lost World Estate with its sprawling gardens. There will be an exciting live and silent auction along with an after party with live music by local Blues band Detour 91.
All proceeds from the “Runway of Strength” Gala will fund essential programs provided by the OCFJC. Founded by retired Anaheim Police Chief John Welter in 2006, the OCFJC provides a long-term positive impact on the community by compassionately providing effective, coordinated services and support to people whose lives have been touched by child abuse, domestic violence, elder/dependent adult abuse, or sexual assault.

Serving all of Orange County, the OCFJC provides direct victim assistance, empowerment and prevention resources to victims and families whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and elder abuse. The OCFJC transforms victims into survivors breaking the cycle of violence. The OCFJC serves 5000 victims of family violence annually.
