The auctions begin in mid-November and it's a great opportunity to score some rare collectibles. They make far-out stocking stuffers!

Exclusive Tommy Chong Interview

A member of the band, The SkyFisherman, (who is also a loyal C and C fan) told us that Tommy's daughter, Rae Dawn Chong, was at his band's gig in Vancouver last week. He also gave us a link to a very exclusive Tommy Chong interview conducted by a local college radio station. It's interesting. Also be sure to check out his band.

Tommy to Host Benefit

Four-time Grammy winner Tommy Chong will host a benefit for ailing cult folk hero Jack Herer Sept. 22 at Universal Studios. A long-time L.A. resident, the 61-year-old Herer is recovering from a stroke. He was stricken July 15 while speaking onstage at the World Hemp Festival in Oregon. His speech and right side are still impaired, leaving him unable to work. He is expected to attend the benefit. Author of the 1985 underground bestseller "The Emperor Wears No Clothes," Herer is regarded as the father of the modern hemp movement. He has campaigned tirelessly over the last three decades to promote the environmental and medical benefits of the cannabis plant. Last year, High Times magazine named him its Man of the Century.

Tommy Performs Tonight At Trump Plaza

Tommy will be co-headlining at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City , NJ tonight. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out. The Record newspaper quotes Tommy as saying a C and C reunion is highly unlikely.

Cheech Has Two Films in Production

Richard "Cheech" Marin currently has two films in production. Both are set to be released in 2001. The first film, Spy Kids, starring Antonio Banderas, is about kids who have to save their secret agent parents. The second film, The Colored Star, stars Trey Parker, Eric Stuart and Charlie Sheen. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

Cherokee Hair Tampons Is a Winner

"Cherokee Hair Tampons," the South Park episode featuring Cheech and Chong, has won Comedy Central's South Park e*LECTIONS. It airs this Wednesday, August 23rd at 10PM on Comeday Central. Story tomorrow, Friday, February 22nd at 8PM EST. The two hour special will detail the rise-and-fall of Cheech and Chong, as well as the reasons why Cheech left the duo. Don't miss it!

Meth Bill Smoked

News courtesy of 420 Times...Although H.R. 2987 (The Meth Bill) passed the House Judiciary Committee last week and was sent to the House floor to be scheduled for a vote, there is some good news to report. For starters, the Committee removed all of the anti-free speech provisions. Gone are the provisions making it a federal crime to teach or distribute information on the manufacture of a controlled substance. Gone are the provisions allowing federal agencies to order internet service providers to take down web sites that the feds believe to be illegal. Also gone are the provisions banning the advertising of drug paraphernalia. These are huge victories and come on the heels of last week's removal of the anti-4th Amendment 'sneak and peak' provisions.

Cheech and Chong Visit South Park

Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong were on Comedy Central's South Park last night. In episode #407, Cherokee Hair Tampons, Cheech and Chong were holistic medicine healers. They did the voiceovers for their characters and were credited. The episode can be downloaded from a great site called South Park Downloads for those of you who missed it.

Cheech Turns Fifty-Four

Yes, it's that time of year again. Thursday, July 13th is Cheech's birthday. Fifty-four years ago this super doper star of Nash Bridges was born in Los Angeles, California.

Secret Agent 420

Tommy has a new movie. It's titled Secret Agent 420. We highly recommend checking out some of the photos on this site. It stars the dopemaster, Tommy Chong, as well as Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf of the Howard Stern Show.
We contacted the film's creator who stated they "don't have the connections right this moment to get it released domestically, so it is going straight to video. Until then, it is underground with us all the way."
The clips look very funny. Information on purchasing the video will be posted once we receive it.

Tommy Turns Sixty-Two

Yes, it's that time of year again. Wednesday, May 24th is Tommy's birthday. Sixty-two years ago the king of dope was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Long live Tommy Chong!

Cheech Marin will be the host of Funny Flubs & Screw-ups tonight at 8PM on CBS. In brief, it's a blooper-esque program which is part of CBS' Cinco De Mayo night.

Cheech Gets Mentioned on Rosie O'Donnell Show

Today on the Rosie O'Donnell Show, Rosie spoke about the celebrity edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire which aired last night. This led to a discussion about the time she was a contestant on celebrity Jeopardy. Rosie said Cheech Marin did the best that night and that he knew the most obscure facts. She also said that she was taught in school that "hallucinogenics" messed up your brain. "But he got the highest of anyone," she said.
She sounded jealous. She made a snotty comment about not knowing which is Cheech and which is Chong.

Nash Bridges Celebrates 100th Episode

At a party earlier tonight, Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, George Lucas and many others celebrated the 100th episode of the CBS series, Nash Bridges. It was held at the vietnamese restaurant that Johnson owns.

Drug-Oriented Web Site Ban Almost Law

We first read about this on Michael Moore's home page and found it rather disturbing. In the very near future, a bill barring Internet sites from publishing or even linking to sites with drug-making information or products is expected to be passed into law by Congress. Late Late Show Wrap-Up

In case you missed it, Cheech Marin appeared on the Late Late Show last night on CBS. Craig Kilborn joked about C & C and their drug use, etc. It was pretty funny. Cheech promoted Nash Bridges which airs every Friday on CBS.
