Tommy Chong Bandmate Bobby Taylor Passes Away
Yesterday, Bobby Taylor of Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers passed away from throat cancer. Tommy Chong was the guitarist and co-wrote the hit song Does your Mama Know About Me.

California Contributing $1 Million to Cheech Marin Museum
Cash-strapped California is putting $1 million of their budget towards creating the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art, Culture and Industry. They only need to raise $2 million more.
The museum will house Cheech Marin's 700+ Chicano art pieces.
Why they'd want Cheech's name on it (with his past) is beyond me.
